The 2009 Broderson Awards

The Broderson Awards have always celebrated "what's next" in Maine's creative industries. In this, their thirtieth year, the Broderson's will take another leap forward by more closely reflecting the faster, streamlined, greener world we live in.

This year, everything from submitting entries and purchasing tickets, as well as viewing will be done online. Entries will be submitted digitally (with very limited printed back ups in very selected categories.) You'll even be able to order a custom awards book right from the website.

There's something else we're going to be doing for the very first time. We'll share the entire scope of entries not just to our membership but to the rest of Maine through a ground breaking video kiosk program. The kiosks will be strategically placed throughout Portland on the October First Friday Art Walk.
